First one:
Your flow is really off in this one, everything seems to be going in kind of a weird direction. Your light elements try to go in one diagonal, but there's something faded in the top right that tries to go perpendicular to that. I like the type, and colors, but I think you could bring out your focal a little better. I'd darken up your far sides a little more, maybe a tiny but more blurring, and lighten up your center. Cool concept though.

Second
Needs a brightness/contrast layer. Brighten it up some, and up the contrast a wee bit. The focal needs to be brought out a little better on this one too. I dunno about those blue lines, they look weird the way they disconnect like that. I'd just keep them as a long, unsevered line, maybe fade them out, or blend them in a little though.

Good atmosphere, and colors on both of these. They just need some tweaking.
