Good stuff

Little details: the top fingers on his left hand look cut off. The scratch texture that covers the apple is partially cut off (lasso tool?). Maybe make the apple and text blend into the board more by adding transparency? The change from light to dark is too abrupt, maybe try using gradients instead of brushes to cover the dark areas?

It looks good, but the text and pidgeon silhouette are ruining it for me

yah, it was a request for a friend, she wanted text there and I was too lazy to make another version ;) And about the board , There was a different image on the board and I must've erased a part of his hand at the same time.
