I don't think it's a brightness problem , tho I do think you should bring back some of the tiger ^^

EDIT: I did notice there is some extra done up scratch at his paw, whats up with that ?:P

They are titled texture packs here: http://psdsymptom.com/ but if you notice they're not even textures

Imma be a harsh in this post just saying.
This is wayyy to bright and in my opinion it doesn't seem to be underwater.
Maybe toning down the brightness a bit and adding some fish into the background and some watery effects.
Something else thats kinda bothering me but is that a rock by it's paw?
Anyways nice work but it can be improved on kiu though :)
