Gift for a friend

Not my best, but I like it. It's for a friend that doesn't belong to this forum, but I'd still appreciate CnC :)

He's a plain dude, heh. I put a lot of "little" effects in there. More clipping masks then normal.

pimp up the contrast to liven it up. might do it good?

Yea what xelo said. Contrast that and sharpen it. the colors on it seem dull.
Use vibrance to bring out the colors more. Give a clear focal on what your trying to do (shield, head, etc).

Looks much better but you should give the Fire shield more light so it gives it more depth.
Try using selective color aswell to bring the colors out more.

Well, the depth couldn't really change, because the shield, originally, was not fire.

Well you can apply the image and then do it. (selective color)
its alright though, the tag is fine as it is.
Next time when making the signature that you know what to do. :]
