I like the second one. the background is a bit too plain tough. Also try placing the text closer to the vocal.
the images are beautiful, very beautiful colours and the whole thing is just wow :D
I never use rl or stock so I'm really gimmped at it :P couldn't tell you what to do or change ^^

Thanks applejuice for the advice. That's the style I've been doing lately.. like trying to load up the effects at the bottom and keep it yes and clean at the top. Looks good in my eyes but I do agree with you that I need to add more effects there. Any advice with what though? I think more c4ds will make it look to crowded.

First one:
I love the FX and where it's placed. I don't really like the two lines on the right though.
The render is a bit big, you should've resized it more. It's basically a head and a darkened arm.
Overall, very good.

Second one:
Eh, not bad, I like this style but it needs work. Your BG is too plain and therefore you C4D's don't really blend into anything.
Text looks horrid, take it out or try doing it again.
Not bad mate, it's a good style but your background and text really killed it.

pretty nice tags only problem is that in the second tag the text is killing it.
