Well, its been a while since my last tut, i took the advice and made the font easier to read. (you can download the resource pack at the bottom)

Just a little tip before you start doing adjustments and adding finishing touches such as gradients and burning you might want to put in your text before you do all of that since it will blend the text in better. you might also want to work on developing a foreground rather than focusing too much on the background.
