Large Surreal: Foetal Dream

An ode to neuroanatomy, the most neurotic of specialties.
Skull, neuron and pattern were sketched, scanned in and finished in photoshop.
The original file size is 3900x5700 (13x19 inches at 300ppi).

Hm, very unique piece of art. I like it a lot. The only thing to me is the text color standouts a little too much. I would maybe make it more of a green IMO. Lol im still trying to grasp the idea of it.

Thanks for the comment. I tried to use the piece's two main colours to keep a general colour scheme.

For clarification, I drew the skull without a jaw. So the concavity on the right is where nose cartilage is, and the bottom of the skull is where the teeth are rooted in.

there isn't really enough in this piece to establish a concept or any show of technical skill. the pattern is nice since you said you made that yourself, but other than that there's really nothing going on.
