^^ The goldish effect coming from front of gun could go up about 4 pixels. might make it look like its coming from the barrel if thats what you were going for.
The composition is nice good use of sig space. The text is in good position, but it doesn't seem up to par with the rest of the sig. I like the lens flare on the helmet, but it needs to be cleaned up a lil it sticks out on the left side of it a little bit.
I like the sharp contrast and depth with the guys hands and parts of the suit it helps the depth some, could also use some mid ground effects imo tho like something going around the gun or the guy to add more depth.
The border could probably be removed and it wouldn't hurt.

I like this a lot, but the light source could be a bit more define and placed better. A little blending wouldn't be bad either.

Don't you use gimp?

Havent used it for months :P
