He looks dirty, but you're aiming for it to be shadows ain't you? And yes the shading is off.
His cap, clothes and skin, they all have different angles of shading. -

Shading is off, edges are a bit jaggy, but if you can develop this particular style of vecotoring it could be cool... I'm impressed :)
