The colors need better execution and they need to be more vibrant.
The color scheme itself is nice though.

I don't really see a discrete light source here, it seems as if the whole piece itself is lighted and not a certain area.

Blending is great though, I prefer V1.
V2 has way too much contrast on the dragon in comparison to the background and it's hard to determine what it is.
