To bright for my taste, there is more then one lighting places and you only did one of them. There are some cool effects but a lot of them are overdone

make a layer aply image and set on multiply and lower opacity a little
then do a new layer again try that tool i assassin told me about the high pass in the filters . set on like 45 or 60 and set on soft light and lower opacity to like 75

Throw in some more contrast ;D.
Then it'll be great! =D.

add more colour if you are doing a colour version but follow the current colour scheme, dont use liquify and try to use organic textures.

hey Skins, sorry for offtopic,
but have u ever played " heroesland" mu? :)

work on your colours a bit
make them more vibrant or something
and the black and white is too bright
you've got some nice effects though mate :)
