That's not true, not for me anyway. I just vote for what I like best. D:
I'm not feeling the text in this one, I think it'd look a lot better with just the "Robot" part, and nothing cut out of it.
The thing behind her could use a tad bit of blurring (like no more than 0.5 gaussian I'd say), just to bring her into focus more than the rest of the piece.
Maybe some dodging/burning too, to emphasize the lighting more, especially around her feet, and under the overhang of the robot thing (where the wires and stuff are behind her).

Overall I do like your tag, it could just use some more tweaking to be better.

Try not to think so negatively, I don't think anyone's trying to set you up for failure and purposely make you not win D:

but i can give only one vote, and i know person who worked atleast 4-5 entries for that ,one and made one.. really great one.

it's not about the topaz for me... actually i don't mind topaz if used propperly.
i love the text you did... it fits the tag, but what killes it for me is that it is flat. it totally lacks depth. also i don't think the render is a robot, so it doesn't go with the theme imo.
