i personally like what you have going, but the background is too empty imo, also a lightsource is needed, kiu
A light source is already being created, to the left of the face and to the right of the floating rock. Although it isn't being defined physically, it's being implied that a light source is there (the shadows are coherent with each other)
I actually like the simplicity of the background, the only thing I'm not sure about is the skull, looks pasted on in comparison to the rest of the piece.
cut off the blurr man and maybe add a crumpled paper or just a grungy bg to make it standout moarr. but thats just me. :) compo in this on is great though.
