use the pen tool, not a brush, to render
i used a pen
why's the hair soft? o.O
also do a quick magic wand selection around the render too see if you erased the entire background because some is still there.
there's also a black section under his left arm and edges obvious on both arms in some places.
just keep on trying, you'll improve with practice
