Apple macs

So, getting a mac this week. I didn't want to get it but parents say i have to use it, so whats good about macs and whats bad?

Mac's are great, everything that does actually run on it runs fast as hell. But there's an apple on it, meaning you're paying a lot for the brand, and I just don't like them as a company, they refuse to abide by european warranty laws and just get away with it. They also wanne make profit on EVERYTHING. But yeah [/rant] Macs are sweet.

I have been using my MacBook pro for 2 years now, or 3, and I love it. The OS is a lot cleaner than windows, and the graphic programs I use run much better than on my old windows counterpart which had the same specs, and cost nearly the same. I am not a huge tamer, but the few computer games are on Mac and my laptop runs them well. Basically, if you are into sound or visual graphics, macs are better than windows, gaming is reverse, but that is due too games being native to windows OS, plus more companies are building mac clients for their games as well. Business wise, they are both good.

The thing I like about mac is you can use the program called "boot camp assistant" to partion your hard drive so you can give Mac OS X a certain amount of space on the hard drive then you can insert a copy of windows into the computer and partion off a portion of windows on your laptop for gaming or whatever you like to use windows for. [ This is all legal and you are allowed to do this.]

Im on a mac right now and its way faster as my windows 7 (the windows pc has actualy a lot more power) but i dunno it runs programs very fast like photoschop and safari. i love it. but im used to windos so. maybe im getting a macbookpro later. but gratz dude :)

I'm working at a mac too mate =).
Really enjoy it ^^.
Only problem for me was to find alternate programs of MSN and Microsoft Word.
Open Office and aMSN are great alternatives ;).
And yeahh... No problems with it =P Just love the quality, looks and OS =).
Only thing I don't love is the price... But it's kinda worth it imo ^^
