Thats really cool looking, if your new to C4D, ide suggest Cold Catalyst's ribon render tutorial under C4D Tutorials...
I think you overdid it a little to much in the center though, but the rest looks pretty good.
Unique; reminds me of that old 'cartoon' Reboot or something like that which was shown on Cartoon Network years and years ago.

Not bad, I agree that there is a little too much going on in the center, I also think that a few hyper nurbs would have helped to smoothen it out, just a little more, unless you were going for the spikey look. Cinema 4D is better for abstract art by far, so that was a good use of it. Keep working with it, getting good at any 3d program takes alot of time and effort. :P
phh, sorry i don't like it. It is hard to get good at c4d but try doing more individual stuff. Build up using small pieces, thats my advice. And look at this guy for inspiration. Strukt.deviantart.com
