Did he? Yay! I haven't watched Bleach in awhile, but I always thought he was effing creepy ;-;
Anyway, on topic. I think the tag as a whole could be brighter. Dodging the render and burning the shadows could make the lighting on him pop more. I also think the tag might've looked better blue, since his hair has kinda a bluey grey tinge...the green doesn't seem right. Where you tried to blend him in, erasing around the render's edge with a soft brush probably would have helped..the black outline really makes hims stick out.
Keep it up insane, looking forward to what you enter for round 2 :]
