CNC please? Trying to test out different styles.

I like the signature but i don't like the green color,it's to much green imo.
Put some other gradient maps ( maybe some blue ore red ) and it looks much better i think :)

the render is kinda indistinct, seems distant.

Yeah, I was messing with the colors a lot and that messed it up a bit. And well I was aiming for it to be behind some things, :3.

I like this style anime and use it often, I think you got the right feel with it, very jagged and hidden feeling. You already know you played too much with the colour layers so I won't bother to tell you about that.

The twirl orbs on the other hand I would suggest that perhaps next time bluring some ( to give good depth) and leaving others nice and sharpened the way they are now :)
