Faild ENTRY Abstract Battle here is the bg it's abstract just felt this render fit well with it .

The one with the render isn't abstract.

it is so m8 the bg is abstract no matter how u look at it's still abstract . just like certain peoples tags that's black and white wasn't black and white but had black and white i them same diff wit my abstract so that's how i see it and that's how it's stands .

i think you should place the render in the middle! then the wings will go nicely with the flow at the right! the green leaves at the left fit in nice so keep them there!!

Agreed.

Yes the bg is a abstract, no question about it, but when you start putting in more realistic forms in it it is no longer an abstract, the rules say you are allowed to interpret the theme as you wish, that does not mean though that it is an image of the theme.

Example 11 has a face in it, but it has been altered to have a more "pattern/or unrealistic" feel to it, this can be accepted as abstract, but your render does not have the qualities of an abstract in it ^^

EDIT: if you have put in 200 of these fairies in and placed them all which way an stuff, than this would have been an abstract I guess :P

Abstract art is now generally understood to mean art that does not depict objects in the natural world, but instead uses color and form in a non-representational way
