Grace Unkept

ANOTHER one of my poems xD Again written like 2 years ago back when I used to participate in a comp.

At that time of my life, lets just say my love life was in a bit of shambles, though Apa may know some of the history... :S

Grace Unkept -

Forever in my thoughts,
There you lay,
Surrounded by memories
Of yesterday

When I had you then,
I ignored you,
I sent you away

I was so ignorant
You tried to get through
But I became too proud
I ended hurting you

Patience is a virtue
Its to be learnt well
Days slowly passing by
Made me realise I was a bit too swell

Ignorance is an atrocity
Its sin is pride
I will admit my wrong
I will no longer hide

While I regret these days
I'm in your debt
Time by myself made me realise
My Grace Was Unkept

Thanks DOM. This is definitely one of my fav poems I have written. And no I didn't win that one. Dude there was this man called earwasere and I must say he was very good at constructing poems. He won like nearly every comp there was (there was about 20 lyrical beasts before it finished) But then he had to go away on some atheletic leave or something of the sort. Either way, he left us with some very good stuff, sucks he had to leave.
