I made this piece to convey the infamous and saddening Alzheimers disease, something my great-grandfather had and was pretty tough for my moms family as I would imagine the same for anyone else who has/had to endure through this. Just thinking about it makes me sad -- to be forgotten, I think would be the saddest part of this disease's phase, especially when it is your loved one.
--
The clock represents the time of an individuals lifespan afflicted with this disease, ticking away; the memories being lost by the second, a slow and derailing process to death.
The old lady[stock] in my picture shows that she is lost, as she holds a picture of herself as if she's looking for that person - someone of great importance maybe (this shows that she doesn't even recognize herself).
Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated.
I may change the text on the picture frame that the old lady is holding from 'VACANT' to 'MISSING'.
I really would like some suggestions for the top of this image; what YOU say will be vastly considered.
Thanks for letting me showcase this piece,

Amazing work, you did an excellent job getting across the point. I really like the way the image feels cut up and alittle disorienting. You did a great job, and should be proud.

Awsome! contrast and grain are perfect. Lady in back looks a little more scary than the one in front.
