Photoshop won't stay open

When I open photoshop it starts up, then looks perfectly normal, but I can't do anything with it as it won't let me. Then after about 2 minutes it randomly closes.

I got it working. My files were damaged from when my brother deleted them. I use PSD files to open up photoshop so yeah >_>

I had this same exact problem, can you tell me what you did with more detail and explanation to help me out with this difficulty?

I had to make a new shortcut on my desktop, since I normally open photoshop with .PSD and the .PSD were broken, it was messing it up.
