it looks cool buddy the bg i showed u i think u used the wrong part doesn't look right it seems not saying looks bad but doesn't have same texture as u wanted try taking just part of those circles making it a pattern then ad new layer pater overlay . and u will have the right pattern for this but gj man looking good .
I am not into any PS3 clan things, but what are all the content boxes supposed to be fore? They are random sizes, and separated at weird areas that it is confusing to the eyes. I would suggest learning about grids, that are used for ligning up your content, IE from http://960.gs/ and use that for the content.
Your main content should take up the most space, and anything like links to other related articles should be smaller and along a side.
Overall, it seems rather dark, and monotone aside from the social network links and the things on either side. Try to make it more fluid, rather than piecing together "cool" ideas.
Lastly, if you are going to have a header image, don't make it take up so much of the screen.
