Fucking wicked. I've always loved this style and never bothered to try my hand at it.
lighting is simply awesome, and I like the smudging, was it with a default brush?

The smudging is a splatter brush slightly edited to give it a slant.

My problems are as said the lighting around the head is too strong and I think that you have created too many of those soft brushes.
