What is this kind of style/picture/image called?

Well, they are supposed to be patriotic posters, all brought about by the Barack Obama Hope poster that was used for his campaign. Since then several people have made posters in the same style, and there are generators to do it for you.

i cant actually see the image, but if it's what i think it is, (obama posters) then one name i've heard of is "tritone"... idk... seems like your question may be answered tho
