v2 is better because of lighting, and whats up with random smudges on the sides ??? and from the looks of it you've placed a render over a stock ??? can we see both the original pictures ??? If am mistaken then my bad. But as a Starter you're definitely on the right track. You're doing much better than me when I started. KiU.

Nah that's a kratos render over a WoW stock but he did add a bunch of things.

I think you should try to tone down the colors a bit, there's too much of them and it makes it look messy imo =)

can i see the resources you used because most of your works you just put your render on a bg

It looks, strange. The colors really stand out and some parts are oversharpened. I do not know where the smudging at the render at the right came from. Here is my advice to you, decide on a focal and stick with it. It looks to me as if you had a focal,changed your mind about it and threw something in there. Follow some tutorials here and I guarantee that you will get better just like I did. Good luck meng.
