its alright man kung needs to be blended in and that drop shadow needs to go its not needed in this tag at all text is alright imo keep workin with it man and welcome back to the forum :)

idk the shadow is working for me.. its really making him look like hes about to jump out and attack.

The drop shadow definitely has to go...sometimes the drop shadow would look okay, like if you were doing a vector style tag for example. But in this, it stands out more than your focal itself, and I'm drawn to the shadow more than the guys face. The background seems over blurred too...you want him to stand out, but not to the point that your background is unrecognizable. The random light on his hat might fit in if you had some sort of lighting coming from behind him.

What I do like about your tag is the text for the most part. I might suggest moving over the "the" to the start of the N and adjusting the kerning until it reaches the G...and then adjusting the kerning for "great" as well. The render you chose also works well for a black and white tag because of the contrast of his costume and his skin.

Not trying to rip your tag apart and be a meanyface, but there's lots of room for improvement. Keep it up :]
