Needs more solid FX and I think you should extend your C4D's so they cover more of the canvas.
Just a bit. Try to do what you did on the right-side with the left-side.

More solid FX and try to bring out the hidden colors there.

hehe i know it's half life. i just didnt have a cool name to put :P
but yea, i will try what you said after i finish typing a paper LOL

any more suggestions?

I like the updated version better. All you need to do is blend in your focal more. Maybe blur a C4D and put it at the bottom right and left of the render. I like the colours, depth and effects though. You could also maybe clean up the flow a little more too. Good job though. keep it up!
