I like the font and the overall style is nice, but the blending and transparency is a little too much. keep up the good work!

Sorry but that's not really a logo. I would rant but people wouldnt like that. Go to lifeinvector.com and browse the illustration section for some good logos. Logos are simple.
Its not so much as a logo as more of a banner for a site :-/

as said in previous posts...that isnt a logo, its a banner.... logos are usually a small object with a little bit of text. most popular logos are so simple its pathetic take the pepsi logo for example... so simple yet so known as soon as u see it u think of pepsi... u need to used the pen tool and see what u can come up with!
