New sig

Trying to find a style for myself hasn't been easy :confused:. I think this time around it's a lot cleaner though. Let me know what you think.

render is deformed
hold shift when u resize ur render
tag needs some wow factor, effects
blending needs work. theres no depth
make ur render smaller or ur canvas bigger, 3/4 of the canvas is render.
and the other 1/4 is text
id remove the text and borders, lightning also needs work

I know how to re-size an image, I don't see where you think it's deformed o.0

I agree the render was over-sized for the canvas.

I think it's because the way I positioned him I wanted to make it look like he was being consumed by the C4D's so I angled him into the corner. So maybe it gives the illusion of him being stretched out.

anyways, try not doing the usual stuff if you want to do something new/by yourself
and by that i mean more work on the BG's and stuff

Well no affence but it doesn't look like you do know how to re-size or you did it in a rush because the render is horizontally stretched.

Other than that I believe you should work on blending and use less C4D's. The concept is interesting but you cannot compact your whole composition with C4D's.
I'd remove the brownish type of border because it's breaking your composition and the text is quite distracting so I advise you remove that as well.

Few things i like are: The gold color matches the render realy good. And i love how you didnt place the render in the midlle of the signature (wich most of us do). I also like what u did with the sword and the c4d :)
Few things that need to be improved are: U got to add some depth in here a good way to do it is using the blur tool and sharpen filter :). like ish said when u size down the render hold shift. this will make the render equal :). Next time try to brin in more color's I love the gold color but it gets borin if there is to much of it in there.

I'm extremely new to making signatures and I have never really been good at art either, so all criticism is taken into consideration, thank you for pointing out the obvious flaws as well as telling me what you like.
For the record Slave is my favorite designer on Gfx Void so she obviously is a big inspiration to me. I Love the way she utilizes C4D's and maintains realism through her tedious attention to detail and keeps it crispy clean.

We all have been new.
