hey fork you have a nice concept and flow i do see some great effects .
V1 looks best imo
things that work
flow is working , um lighting looks pretty good .
things that could be worked on .
making focal a little lighter not too much try changing up your effects there pretty much always the same thing with your focal and effect over the top of it
V2 didnt work for me
reason is because that the colors were off and that purple gradient? your using so it seems purple and orange,
by chance is always being used, in your tags as well. i like that you trying different style effects over you focal but same style is getting kinda boring
and i know you can come up with so much more .
v1 is really over contrasted , v2 looks good , The effects you made are really cool, the lighting needs work though , i also feel like the red c4d orb on the left shouldn't be there,
for lighting try
making a new layer ,
fill it black ,
grab a round soft brush and make its opacity about 14
make brush color a light orange
set layer to linear dodge
and go over where your light source is

Fixed lighting.
I really like V1 and again the FX you used on the render, it gives it a good feel.
Just a few things I have to say is the cool effect you have going on the render is as I mentioned is great but it seems a bit over done in my opinion and a large portion of your render is gone. It would be cool if you did that a bit less and help maintain the composition.
Another thing is the contrast. I'd suggest keep V1 and lower it a bit, especially on the focal.
Oh yes, remove the fractal on the side in V1.

I tried various other color schemes but I couldn't find one I enjoy'd.
