First decent attempt with smudging :)

nice try at it man i really like the right side of the tag the left still needs something else to it also try to blend the render in to the tag do just have him standing there in front of everything lol i want to see more smudging from ya man keep it up u will get better

Good attempt on smudge tag mate. Though it needs some tweeks to make it more better. First we talk about smudge in the tag. Well you see the when you do smudge set them to different opacity like soft light, screen or multipy so that shadow and lights in smudge are maintained. You did a good smudge but it meeds more detail in smudge. I cannot tell you as smudge is shown on how its done. Well first i will suggest you to download some good smudge brush from DA. The render also needs blending from the back part of the render. Smudge some part of it and for colors do some more selective color and color balance.

Make it 400x125px(?) now is the pic empty but really nice.. Make it smaller.. ;o

Delete the 1px border, a hate that border.. :$
