it has nice concept. but there is no depth, also u should bring the focal out a bit more, cuz it goes with bg to much :S
also add some lightening where light falls on the robot with dodge tool, and burn some places with burn tool, where it has to be dark, where shadow stands, other ways

Work on your depth:
Gaussian blur your bg by less than 1. - use your disgression...
sharpen your foreground slightly..
Add further depth by burning where shadows would be, and use dodge where highlights would be..
Colour:
Add a complimentary colour like green or purple.. to your background layers and smudge it in.
New layer, brush and smudge some medium grey #f7f7f7 set it to divide.. this makes some nice vibrant colouring.

it's all blended nicely but it needs more depth, a bit of colour variation and more dynamic lighting :)
