Also it would be much appreciated if someone could point me in the direction of some c4d sig tuts :)

well for starters that's alien not predator um lighting is a bit too bright and the effects looks like could use some thing else to make it pop out more . need to try and work on your depth more . can do this multiple ways everyone has there own way of making it the most popular way is using the burn a nd dodge tool . gl m8 nice attempt tho.

It's pretty monotone and the stripes in the background kinda give it a circus feel instead of an alien eatin ur face feel. Also, like sirenzo said, it needs more depth and the lightings a little off. I'll make a basic c4d tut using an alien render for ya tonight if i get time. :)

the bg doest really fit the alien theme, also try tonin the lighting down as its a tad to bright, you could try smudgin the alien out wards as it does look to well blended atm

My work has never had any depth, I can never seem to make it work.

well i think ur yourslave from fallen right :P . Collors feels kinda washed out , u should work on ur depth , and try to work with fractals too it can give some nice effects :)

look at g tag see how he did his depth u could do something similar like that with your alien tag just a thought . and yes fractals are nice and textures . just keep working on it bro make a v2 . ttyl

V2 is much better. I still think the lighting is off on the render itself. Also, remove the text. KIU
