Simple Lasso'ing Tutorial

I know most of you will already know this so this is for the ultimate noobs.

If you have a render on a coloured background, e.g:

Rather than using the ordinary lasso tool and taking along time just to mess it up,
Right click the lasso tool and select magnetic lasso tool, click once anywhere around the image, carefully go around the image not clicking untill you meet up where you started, look for a small circle under the cursor, click once again.
Open up a new photoshop file with the size you want, do whatever you want to do that, get back on the render's window, select the move tool, drag the render into your Signature and your done. A render in a signature.

This is my first tutorial so please dont kill me for anything ive done wrong :(

I did it extremely fast and took part of his foot and helmet off lol
Just make sure you look what your lasso'ing

It is very much basic that about all knows about but still I think its missing here on Gfxvoid. So it is good that you are contributing with something even if it easy ;).
Though if it is a completely white background or a background with one colour anyhow I would use ethier Magic wand tool or colour range ;). And edit the last with "Edit in quickmask mode (Q)" ;).
But anyhow good job there ^^.

I know but i dont know how to use quickmask, i know theres tutorials on the site i just dont read them :(

I agree, 4 a 1 color background, the Magic wand tool might be even more simple.

Yeah the results are with the magnetic lasso

Whats wrong with the extract filter ?
Although this is a good alternative.

Im not saying this is better just saying that this is the easiest way to understand, thats why i say it fors noobs

ye it is very easy. but still it can be made better

I just use magic eraser.
