Colors... it just needs more colors and some depth which u could achieve with layer maps... i actually think the beginning is great!!! Just finish er up!

I forgot to mention that this was for a request the colors the guy wanted were grey-scale with a small amount of purple

I see some effects blurred and others sharpened in the arm area, this might be an attempt at depth or drawing attention to the focal but it just feels awkward in my opinion. There's some good flow created by the c4d's and the background adds to this aswell. Perhaps add a lightsource and some finishing touches and it will improve greatly!
