I'm not a fan, the smudge isn't bad in some parts but the canvas is huge and there's nothing much going on besides the smudge.
Same opinion as Aether, but i'm wondering what those orange/blue spots are?
Looks like a bubble c4d Xiu..
Its proper empty..
The smudge is a good start.. experiment with different brushes in your smudging.. and work them in and around the focal point... your smudging should be interesting and make your eyes follow it towards the render.
Get some more contrast in there too.. Its looking bland. Pile it up with some c4ds.. smudge the hell out of them give more flow.. work from around a 10 px brush all the way down to a 1 or 2 px brush. Go in the same direction.. none of that messy crap that looks like you gave a mouse to a hyperactive 3 year old. (Not that im saying your work is, just needed something to spice up the CnC, it was sounding boring)
Then Make a curves adjustment.. make an S curve.. drop your shadows.. ramp up your highlights. Sharpen front. Blur Back. Dodge highlights.Burn Shadows. Then add some blubble c4ds.. But not too much! (Remember flow) get a soft brush anywhere from 30 - 50 px Colour it up on a new layer.. click in spots that look like they need livening up.. set that layer to colour dodge..
Think thats about it...
i think it needs more... more blending... more colors... more effects -- great start tho... stocks can be harder for sure!
