The lighting is overly sharp and the swirly effects draw attention to the right half of the tag even though the focal is on the left.
Not the best I've seen from you but as you mentioned you were trying out some things.
The stock itself is a bit awkward in my opinion as there's a double focal and the pop-out thing with the machete in my humble opinion rarely works.
Offtopic: dead island looks like it could be pretty sweet.

Indeed the ligtning is a bit to much in this one, tone it down a bit. I also think that the red and blue doesnt match that good.
The effects are sweet appart from that blue things at the lightsource, and as aether mentiont pop out barely works at signature's with double focals
Good your trying new stuff, but i like your other stuff more :D

i dont like how sword pops out of the tag. takes too much attention. also some of that bubbles are too solid for me. looks like this needs more, rather than that swirls. they kinda kill the atmo imo. also that light needs to diffuse more. light up your tag a lil more.
