The concept looks good but the text is a bit overdone, maybe too much text. Also you might want to play around a bit with saturation because it looks a bit burned with too much orange and yellow.

Keep in mind your values and your placement

its very cool imo the text is the main problem fix it and it will look much batter =)
edit: it looks batter remove the outer glow or lower the opacity of it imo

That doesn't matter...I could've made a design of him mopping a floor or something. A mixtape cover doesn't have to be special.
