Drop the border, work on the lighting, drop text, crop the sides a bit and fix color. Other then that I see where you were going with this sig.
On top of what DR said, I'd also sharpen the render and try to draw the eye to it more.
agreed with both, make it shorter. and bring more of the render out. good start though!
