I'm new to sigs and i want to know what you think. i didn't follow tuts on these.

The text needs to go in the first one. And If you want to make the eyes the main focal then I'd suggest making the eyes brighter and more vibrant. The foreground of it needs a bit more work and background seems lq on the left.
The second one is better. Could do with out the text again. I like the colors that are going on in it but it needs work with depth and blending a bit.
First one is quite dull, definitely needs a light source and has some composition issues.
I love the colours on the second one, just needs to tone down the effects on the left side and the top right to create better depth and make the focal more obvious.
