Just done this sig..(I am new with photoshop so im not going to be delievering anything awesome:P, just saying). I dont think it turned out as well as i wanted but here it his, feedback is highly appreciated so i can improve!:)

Well basicly it's just a background with a render on it (with a little smudge)
The BG is a little boring, try putting stocks or sumting...
also, maybe some fractals near the render would look nice
it's not bad, but it just looks like someone wanted to make a tagg, but stopped at step 3 or something :p
Yeah what i think im really struggling at the moment with backgrounds i jsut dont know what to add because when i try sticking in some c4d's i cant get them to look right and it makes the sig look terrible
Thats why I m(personally) dont use C4D's. but you do need something to make it more interesting.

Million times better. :)
Just need some FX infront too, and the colours of Masterchief need to relate the background or vice versa.. Add some adjustments like photo filters or gradient maps.
