I'm just wondering where you people were when it actually happend and how you felt about it when you saw the towers come down, and how you may or may not feel about it now, especially since we have taken out Bin Laden.
Feel free to discuss, but keep it on topic please.

In school, they tried to keep what happened under wraps to an extent and left it to the parents, I remember wondering why everyone was getting picked up early.

I was pretty young and didn't understand the devastation at the time. Now that I do I can pay my respects properly.

I was in class, 3rd grade 8 years old. And they made everyone go home. I was worried of my mother due to the fact that she worked a couple of blocks away from the trade center and the trains were shut down. But she got home safe. Things in the 5 boroughs were pretty hectic.
