Well the one thing that i notice first everytime that i dont like is his hand in the water, instead of showing it, do a splash of white/light blue in that area and put his hand on like 10% opacity, Needs a little work with perspective, but great painting other than that :D Kiu bro

fair enough.. I did kinda rush the hand in the water.. So yeah.. but thanks for the feedback :)

Yeah np, im not a painter whatsoever so that was just my two cents :D

I think the hand is fine, since water is actually clear so from that angle you would see his hand but it would be a bit more distorted in my opinion I'd like to see some brighter blues used instead of the dark sea foam greens and maybe some splash by the base of the board to make it look more real. Also needs a bit more detail
