in your position, I would stop trying to use text or borders for awhile. They aren't really that important of a skill to learn and can reeeeeally ruin tags if you don't use them properly. Other than that, focus on getting the right balance of sharpening and blurring. You are kind of overdoing it.

An encouragement: your focal placements aren't bad at all. Just remember the rule of thirds.

well, some of the taggs are nice, but others are way overblurred and washed out...
