a bit simple not terrible but not good either try and mess with u setting with you smudge and get more creative with it ass some more like swirls and stuff and squiggle but keep it in the flow . gj over all kiu i would also work on the blending of the focal and effects in with the focal .
i think its pretty :) maybe add some small clip masks for more effect, and i think u made the focal bit to bright, but other then that it's really pretty, nice job!

If this is your first time smudging, then it's pretty cool dude!
When smudging you should try to also smudge with smaller brushes to create details.
Now it looks like you took one or two big images to smudge and just smudged it with one big smudgebrush.
If you do that your depht won't be as good as it should be. What I see now is a girl behind one big
smudge layer, if you know wht i mean :P. The focal looks a bit too bright and coul dbe blended in a bit better.
You may wanna leave the head as it is, don't smudge the edges of the head cause it looks a bit akward imo.
Also in this case the colors of the smudging at the top (wich are comming from the head of the girl) aren't really fitting
with the rest of the colors imo. I do like the red and orange smudge tho.
The smudge effects that are near to your focal are looking great and detailed.
