If you're going for a pokemon vibe, you gotta flip it, enemies are on the right. =B
Lovin' the color, and texture to your second one. Type is good too, very fitting. I would try to bring out Okami's head a little more though. Not much more, but just a tiny bit, it's getting a bit lost in the chaos. Very cool piece though.
