It's been a while, and im not quite happy with the result, but here it is:

ok ok dont be mad at what im about to say but...... its horrible imo it has flow in a direction and blending is ok but the effects dont help the flow with them being everywhere u need to follow some smudging tutorials to help you with flow and stuff and that will make stuff easier keep workin man i know you can do better than this

Hmm, yeah thx, I haven't made anything proper the last few weeks, I''l have to check some tuts...

The flow goes in the opposite direction of the render, it should flow the same way as in your x-mas gift. So flip the c4d's to get the correct flow.
Next color blending of the render.
Add some more smaller stuff to make it interesting.
Finally sharpen it and play with color adjustments.

Your composition on this one is way off. It's just too messy.
