to me it just looks like it's having a short circuit, dunno o.o
Edit: you know at a second glance what that really reminds me of is the little copper lines in microchips shining like they were set in cyberspace...i'd still kill to know how do that type o thing though.
There were some pretty good ones for sure, although I'm going to go with the comical one in this situation - Spork. Nice job to everyone!

Psypher deserves the win. His sig follows the rules in my opinion and it is the best looking. Great colors, stlye, and the part on the right is awesome.
I voted for spork... because it was amusing for a few seconds. But Psypher's is awesome.... A lot of these sigs are awesome, except some are kinda random o___O
