First is gorgeous, second is an inferior carbon copy of the first. :P I feel like the first could be damn near legendary with the right lighting.
You overkilled with blurring. Blend better.
first one could be epic! your focal is slapped on top of the sig and doesn't blend in with the effects.
make copies of the wire effects. place them on top of the focal. erase parts. that way he will jump out of the wires instead of in front of them.
